Polished Chrome Plating
During polished chrome plating, the workpiece is ground and polished before the galvanic treatment, in order to achieve a mirror-smooth surface.

Layer thickness: Fe/Ni 8 – 15 µm d Crr
Pretreatment: Grinding, polishing
Workable materials: Steel, stainless steel, brass, copper, aluminium alloys
Maximum dimensions of parts: L/W/H 2100/600/1300 mm; aluminium 2100/550/1000 mm

Implementation: Fe/Ni 12 - 18 d Crmp

Industrial Chrome Plating
In industrial chrome plating, grinding and polishing does not occur. Through this cost-effective variant, the workpiece has a shining surface, but material irregularities can still be recognised.

Layer thickness: Fe/Ni 8 – 15 µm d Crr
Pretreatment: no mechanical pretreatment
Workable materials: Steel, stainless steel, brass, copper, aluminium alloys

Matt Chrome-Plating
Matt Chrome-Plating is only for decorative purposes; the corrosion protection is low.

Black Chrome-Plating
In black chrome-plating, during separation, chrome oxide and chrome hydroxide particles are integrated in the electroplated chrome layer.
Through this, the deep black colour comes into being. Without this, the metallic characteristics such as conduction of heat and electricity or metallic sheen are lost.
